Concept 2

Wooden artwork

In the wooden artwork, tasks are displayed on wooden blocks. These tasks are handed out to the child at the start of the day, and placed in the wooden casing for it. The idea is that whenever the child performs a task and completes it, the block should be turned around, revealing an artwork.

By having the artwork slowly reveal itself, it gives a sense of completeness when it is finished. Additionally, it gives the child the motivation to continue. The concept is well suited to short-term modification: whenever the mother finds that a different task should be performed, it is possible to simply swap out a block and place a new one with the corresponding task.
